Would it surprise you though? It wouldnt surprise me in the slightest.

It would surprise me. Quitting on exactly 1000 games, against a team whose fans hate him, with us clearly on our way to non league? More.likely he hangs on until January in the hope he can be some sort of saviour in his last management job, then goes either when he realises he's not got any budget to work with and it's hopeless, or in Feb/March when we're clearly down if not yet mathematically.

Probably the biggest issue here if he walks. They won't appoint anyone else.

Someone on FB posted this

“Listening to Ollie’s post match he’s honest and truly aware of what he’s got as a team and knows some of them has to go.If he’s been told new blood is coming clem should at least get some credit.“

Just another example of how clueless some of our fanbase is.

Don’t they watch the games?
He sets the team set up wrongly - starting 3 up front leaves us outnumbered in midfield time after time, then makes haphazard changes in personnel/ formation which usually make things worse and leave the players looking as though they don’t know what they should be doing.
A manager who has to change team shape after 30 mins or less (I exclude the occasions when a sending off has necessitated that) clearly has no idea.
That said, I stand by what I said when others were saying that Kennedy was the issue - the players are simply not good enough! We’ve played 3 quarters of the teams in our league and beaten just 2. Our league position reflects the quality and mentality of the squad!

Kennedy was probably one handball by Freckleton from staying in his job.

I think Holloway after 1000 games as a manager should know what's needed to turn it around. But I think he thought he could walk in and give it a bit of banter and fresh energy and get a bounce.

That hasn't happened so now he has his work cut out and does he have the desire and tools in the window to do it?. Maybe being on his doorstep he can't scuttle off 200 miles home like he did at Grimsby.
