I was about to say that we should play Minturn from the start at the weekend. And then he shows why he isn’t good enough
Bit unfair maybe? Coming on 4 nil down in a shit performance and makes one mistake. Still think he should be starting

Best thing Hall has done for us. Get himself suspended.

I sincerely hope that Tshimanga, Hall, and Delaney are dropped on Saturday, along with playing four at the back, Ofoborh must start. The back three aside from Wright are too slow and error prone. There was marking and tracking runners in the second half, but Colchester were seldom out of first gear.

Hall & Delaney make Heywood & Viveash look like Baresi & Maldini

The back three isn't working, time to drop some experienced players, don't blame Minturn for one error or Glatzel playing out of position.

Well if he must persist with his stupid formation I'd say Minturn, Sobo and Wright McGregor Ofobohr Kilkenny, Longelo Smith Glatzel Drinan

I know. I think he is likely the best of a bad bunch. Hall and Delaney are on the way down, while Minturn has the potential to get better.

Well at least today will go into the history books, not for the right reasons but still.
The day we hit rock bottom of the Football League for the first time ever.
And like Rudolph....their names will go down in history.
A whole new low!

Holloway post Colchester
- Opening goal wounded us. Everything that we were doing before, stopped. We lost energy and unforgivable. In truth we were beaten after the first goal. - Haven’t seen that before from ‘my lot’. That was unacceptable especially after what I saw on Saturday up until the penalties. - Their heart and soul should be for the people who have driven all the way here to support, but the players didn’t look like they cared. We’re in the mire, and we deserve to be. - Players will watch every single minute of that first half again. I am hurting badly. - We are absolutely rooted to the bottom and after seeing that, I might need the cavalry to come in during the transfer window. - The group needs help and the window opens soon and I will have to do more work than I ever dreamed of. The players know it wasn’t good enough, and I cannot defend that performance. Colchester blocked almost every cross and we just didn’t have that desire – we lack that spirit and desire. - We’ve got to sort this out. That performance was like a bouncy castle with about 15 holes in it. How can you be afraid to do your job? - Ryan Delaney – he’s running on empty and we had to throw him back in. His natural replacement, Miguel Freckleton, is injured. - I need to reassess everything right now. What I have to do is hold it together and make sure whoever is picked on Saturday is ready to go out and do a job. That’s the challenge but it’s a challenge I am up for and that’s the job. - I apologise to the Swindon fans. This is a horrendous, squirmy period. We are stood in a pile of manure. We need to dig deep and get a different mindset. That’s one horrendous evening that we’ve all had to endure. The negative feeling is spreading and we might need some leaders and some other people to come in. we know what the issues are.

Holloway: - First half: Difficult to say. The goal wounded us - Everything we were doing before the goal stopped. Which was unforgiveable - We were beaten there and then at 2-0. It was unacceptable - Didnt expect that from these lads, after the fight they showed at the weekend - Their heart and soul should be for the people who drove up there - That aint good enough - We are in the mire and deserve to be after that - They are going to watch every minute of that first half - Saw some fight in the second - We are absolutely totally rooted to the bottom - If thats the way we are going to play then I might need the cavalry to come in in the window - As a professional that is unacceptable. We were still in it at 2-0 down - The window will be open soon and Holloway will have to do more work than he thought he would - He cannot defend that performance - Have some of them played their way out of the club? Thats harsh. Holloway would have picked 9 of their team and only 2 of ours. - No desire. - WE became predicable - They know that was unacceptable. Said some other things to those who came on. - Delaney was running on empty. His replacement is injured - Hall coming back from injury - But that isnt an excuse. It was like a bouncy castle with 15 holes in it - If they are going to show me that just before a window, I would be worried if I were them - That is unacceptable from the whole group - The last manager and Sporting Director aren't here now - I might have to do a darn sight more than I thought I would in the window - Holloway needs to reassess everything - Have to make sure that whoever he picks is ready to go on Saturday - He expected us to win tonight. We started well and then we gave t hem two. Then they looked as if they could score at will. Holloway didnt recognise them. He apologised to the fans. - Need fans to help him dig us out of the mire - 6 or 7 of them have been relegated before. They need a different mindset - Killkenny worked his socks off - Wanted to bring Drinan off as he ran his heart out, but ran out of subs. - Need some help from the fans. Need Fleetwood to feel under pressure and not our lads - The save after Minturns mistake and Wright winning the second ball: That was the only praise he gave - There is a negative 'wuhh!' around the club - They got worse tonight not better - That lot have holes in them - It was horrendous. Holloway can't have that! - They dont look like the players he has been training with - It will be a long journey home!

Again. It's as if what happened out there was nothing to do with him.
