saw this in the sun today pat nevin was commenting on chelseas lack of numbers at games....could sandy gray please read this and note under 7s will not go to games on their own.

And former star Pat Nevin said: “It is a bit sad if they can’t fill the stadium.

“For some games, it would be nice if they could get one stand with cheaper seats.

“The last time I went there, there seemed to be a real lack of fans aged between 20 and 30. They are the ones who will soon be having kids and you need their support.”

Pretty disgusting all round really.

Can't remember what rag it was in but a similar article said that Chelsea season ticket holders who forked out 6k were expected to pay an extra £275 for their seats last night.

Tottenham charge £70 pay on the day in some areas of their ground.

I don't think they where the worst and the starting prices for Spurs where not that bad in comparison with others.

West Ham's prices came as a bit of a shock, one of the most expensive in the top flight.

its understandable london clubs are the most expensive, as the cost of living there is so much higher than anywhere else. clubs oooop north cant charge sky-high prices cos of the working class support (apart from Manure cos they're a southern-supported club  :-))( )
