Bycroft got lucky again. He spilled that.
I think almost any gk would of dropped that one tbf, not easy to keep hold of a ball when you get knocked out the air with your feet 5 foot from the ground

I don't even know who you could keep on, I'm not convinced anyone has been half decent. You could being off anyone and there can't be a complaint from them.
Midfield has been non-existent, attack has had no supply and the defence has been shocking.

We really need to stop trying to be something we are not. A good footballing team.
Flat back 4. When they have the ball either look for the wingers or go long to Smith. Stop dicking about with it at the back.

I'm struggling to remember ever seeing a team run around and harry like Accrington have so far.
Seen first 15-20 minutes before slowing down but they've kept it up almost that whole half. Incredible fitness levels.

Any chance we can play with a functional defence at any point?
I know we don’t have any full backs, but surely it makes more sense to play a player that can play wing back at LWB, rather than someone who is supposed to be an attacking midfielder.

Any teams looking at us will know there 1 gameplay.
Launch it in the box and wait for the goal to come.

Could not disagree more. The reason players like Cotterill, Butterworth, McGurk and Glatz are struggling is because we are not trying to play enough football. It's smash it down the channel or look for smith all the time. We don't have 11 players to play that way. They would be better trying to play more football, keep possession and control the game.

I assume Gunning and Bognot do most of the coaching in training rather than Holloway?

Agree with this. Cotterill stealing a living and offers absolutely nothing.

Are you kidding? The reason those players are struggling is because the ball doesn’t even get to them. We start at the back & lose it there. They’ve got more chance getting it from a Smith knockdown / hold up play than they do from Delaney or Minturn playing out from the back. …oh and the fact their shite too.

That was truly abysmal stuff. I haven't watched much of the last month or so, glad I haven't. Honestly, anyone who can take any positives from that is on something. Nothing in terms of a plan, nothing in terms of talent, nothing in terms of defensive structure, nothing. Stanley should be out of sight by now, it's only the fact it's L2 keeping us in this, and I imagine keeping us from being rock bottom. We have got steadily worse over the past three seasons. Managers can take some of the blame, but they themselves are just a symptom of the greater ills, as is the talent pool we seem to be drowning in.
I know someone is going to try and tell me Gltazel and McGurk are good players - they are not. They have flits of talent, just like 90% of kids who don't make it in Premier League clubs having been in their Academies for a while. The further they move from that safe environment, the worse they become, with many spending a few seasons at this level before drifting away. They are just not designed for it, not their fault. I can't imagine Glatzel enjoys this type of stuff compared to the 10 years or so of possession based skills development he would have had.
We are a sorry state.
That said, it is L2 and Accrington could let the mental side take over and start working to protect rather than press us, then a mistake could just as easily see us draw level. Over the course of 46 games, we don't look like we can do much though. You can't beat the odds all the time.

Why does Holloway keep changing formation every week and every half, pick a formation and stick with it get the players used to that position and coach them
Not sure we have played 3-4-3 all season and you can tell, we are all over the place and look way to open at the back and the defence is to open
