Not a competition anyone cares about much, but we might accidentally go through from the group stages - avoid a loss in normal time and we're probably through.

Expecting quite a strong team as we have a lot of senior players on the fringes that need minutes and everyone is fit-ish- something like

             Barden
    Hall Minturn Delaney
Longelo Cain Butterworth King
    McGurk Glatzel Ameen

Would be 10 changes and still only one youth player in the side. It shows that our squad is much deeper than in previous years, even in the top level quality isn't there.

Then with Mitchell & some youngsters on the bench. I wonder if Uwakwe will make the squad?

First time we've ever had a thread for an under-11s fixture.

Ollie said on Saturday he is looking to draft 2 of the kids into the match squad, I am guessing Gonzales and Ameen maybe? after he watched them on Tuesday in the cup game vs Newport.

I expect a fairly well changed team as you too suggest.

I just assumed it was a typo!

I doubt many of us are bothered about the outcome of this game, but it does at least give the new boss an extra opportunity to try things out as well as giving one or two younger players a chance to impress. And it's always nice to win and build a bit of confidence.

Exactly reeves. A good chance for Ollie to cast the eye, but not a representative game.

Sorting side - couldn't care less.
Financially - how much do we get from knockouts? Enough to exchange the DRS beer soda stream gas?

Ultimately the result doesnt matter a jot, but I would think that Ollie will want to see what depth of squad he has inherited and also winning would take us into the knock out stage and a win will earn the club £10k whereas losing you get just £1k so that helps.

Also winning breeds confidence.

Hopefully, with a new manager breathing fresh air into the squad that they’d all be up for it and want to play.

Think it will be close to that suggested line up, although would like a back 4. Can't see Minturn starting after playing all 120 mins at the week end and cramping up. Cotterill for Minturn therefore my only change from your XI. The front 3 looks exciting.

Pretty sure even if we lose on Penalties we go through on Goal difference, so effectively don’t lose in 90 mins and your through to the next round.

Interesting point on the financials.  Still not convinced progress would be worth detracting from our focus on Lg 2 points.

I can't recall the last time I ever gave enough of a s*** (or £10!) to actually watch one of these Pisspot games.  The idea of watching a mainly second XI inc. a couple of youths such as Ameen does appeal however.  We shall see.

Holloway’s pre match presser was decent. Confirmed both Grant Hall and Uwakwe will be involved.
