I like McGregor a lot. He needs to get more minutes.

Cleaned up beautifully on that Tranmere break.

Any ideas on how we are trying to get back into this?

I like Drinan because, imo, he's honest.  But he's no use.

But by God, poor Tchimanga needs assistance and he's left on his own.  They need to be closer together.  Tchimanga receives and holds the ball well (as long as it's not Cape Canaveral) but he's isolated and so no lay offs or knocks across.  It's like playing 4-4-1.  Angry

Would have been interested to see how Tchimanga pairs with Smith.  But with the 10 game mark coming up where I'll pass judgement, it looks like I'm going to lose interest in yet another season beforehand.

About what you expect from us, with a silver lining of looking okay in the first and final 5 minutes of the half.

We are lacking in workers/runners in the middle, too many times the defenders are looking for movement which is not there so it ends up being the long ball forward and too bloody easy to defend with our non existent strike force. I despair!

Didn't realise there were 3 Mersey Tunnels. Another 2 between our 3 centre backs. It's pretty clear that with Hall and Delaney out we don't have the personnel to play 3 at the back. Minturn must be flummoxed with Sob and Freckleton above him. Sob may be a better footballer than Minturn(arguably) but he's not a better defender in my book
