Notts County striker Macauley Langstaff looking set to sign for Millwall for a fee of £1m+

Now confirmed. Big loss for County, but they'll have a bit of money to spend now.

£700k is still not bad for a £50k outlay, especially for a 27 year old.

Not L2 but a previous target.

Eastleigh have signed Colchester United, Swindon Town and Bromley-linked Richard Brindley following his exit from Notts County.

Salford lose keeper Alex Cairns to Leeds United, he was IMO the best keeper we played against last season.

George Byers to Vale, who are doing frustratingly good business.

Courtney Baker-Richardson returns to Newport, who also seem happy about that.

Not sure if it's just because we did nothing much last summer for ages, but it feels like most clubs are doing their business early.

Possibly, the only clubs that had a lot of new players at this stage last season were Doncaster and Grimsby who both bought in 7+ at this stage IIRC. While we were hoping for any new signing still!

I had noticed a lot of L2 clubs are getting business done much earlier than normal though.

Morecambe have announced erm... Fifteen new signings at once, including Hallam Hope.

It's unusual.

Wow that is unusual, admittedly I wouldnt have wanted us to sign any of those players TBH. I know we had (Britains fastest convicted driver) Slew on trial a season or 2 back but having seen him play I dont think we missed out on him.

Interestingly 3 of those signings were released by Morecambe themselves in June.
