The quietest I’ve ever seen the CG for a ‘sell out’. Can’t blame the fans either, there was genuinely nothing to get excited about. The moment where Kemp had held the ball up and there was no Swindon player above the half way line summed up that half. Insipid first half. Would be nice to have RHM on the bench, not that I think he’d completely turn this round, but would be nice to see someone have a run at their back line. Their left back also looks to have Hutton in his pocket completely which nullifies most of our attacking output

Where exactly is Austin playing?

At times it’s looked like a 3-4-2-1

   Minturn, Brewitt, Kokolo

Hutton Kinsella Khan Shade

           Young    Austin

                  Kemp

Kemp was playing ahead of the two strikers a lot last week too. Our formation is at best fluid and at worst a performance art installation.

I don’t think we’ve been particularly bad but we haven’t been particularly good either.

We’ve been exactly what we are. A pointless team just there to make up the numbers. Not good enough to challenge at the right end of the table. Not bad enough to be looking over our shoulder (yet!)

It’s just fucking boring

HT
Not much in it to be honest but we aren't known for second half rallies. Not many of ours impressing to be honest.
but apart from a powder puff challenge on the first goal,Minturn's looked ok. Thing we've improved a bit with the change and, like DV I don't see why Brewitt didn't start if he's ok to come on after 30. We've looked toothless further up with Young,Kemp and Austin complete nonentities so far. Shade and Hutton and Kokolo have had their moments but Wrexham are nowhere near outstanding but of course they haven't had to be

The annoying part are, like many of the ‘top teams’ in this league, Wrexham aren’t up to much, just highly organised which is even more frustrating. A clear game plan, and some attacking intent and there’s no reason why we can’t compete here. Probably asking for too much though.

Agree if we had the players and the managers vision to compete.  Just seem happy to pass the ball around instead of quick play

Nice run from Kokolo but we've just seen a CB as the furthest man forward.
