Phil Collins  isn't going to buy us Aud.
Heh. I was referring to Tamworth Red Army’s post suggesting Genesis should play at LWB tonight. Too subtle?

Not subtle, just wrong. Although Phil "i wont live in the UK if Labour win" Collins was in Genesis, in the air tonight was a solo effort.

I always liked Duke at LWB. And yes, that's a niche Genesis joke.

Weirdly I'm looking forward to tonight's game. Didn't get to watch Saturday and so having a midweek game to tune into is always welcomed. I'm working in London today but couldn't quite work a route home via Colchester on the trains so Ifollow it is.

Confidence is going to be very low so a game away at a place where the atmosphere is bound to be pretty poor may actually work in our favour. That said, I think we'll lose and Shade to give the travelling fans the finger/fingers

Pre match not in 7th heaven in the Moon and Starfish.

So good old Clacton.
A sedate walk along the prom followed by a visit to a tearoom is likely to win out over a rampage along the seafront booting walking accoutrements out from under the locals.
I'll be joining them in the not too distant but won't be going gracefully.

Not dwelt too much on The Debacle.
Some had predicted a thrashing at some stage but what happened on Saturday had little to do with the style of play.

Hopefully the team will step up tonight & show some pride in their work.
They owe it to themselves & to us.

If Flynn can't get a tune out of them this evening then that won't bode well for the rest of the season.
It's a pivotal game.

Other than that it's a fine sunny day, it's a Tuesday & there is a game on.
What's not to like.

Yep, put £10 of my refund money toward this. Also looking forward to it,as I do every game. Not saying that I never retrospectively regret it though!

We all look forward to it, we all regret it. continuous loop. My girlfriend has really tried to understand why I like a team who are so fucking shit. Its hard to explain to her. Im planning to take her young nephew to see Real Madrid next month, she can get behind that. She is Venezuelan and simply doesnt get the whole follow your local team ethos

I'm not looking forward to it. I'll suffer it.

If Flynn get us out this division at the right end with the absolute mess we appear to be in he deserves the keys to the town. Under different circumstances I feel like we'd be having a cracking season.

Its a curse we all suffer with.

My old neighbour was 70 recently.

I told him that it was he that got me into following the Town....and i will NEVER forgive him for it!

Ironic that he defected to Salisbury City when they started doing well in the National League!

Well at least that worked out badly for him.

Having listened to the Presser episode of the Lspod for this fixture, can't help but think Flynn's treatment of Acklam was unfair.

Could be prickly due to all of the off-field shenanigans too.

Never more so than Preston at Wembley but at least we got to spend time in the bar with Asher for most of the second half!

If that's been his attitude in training, think we could be in trouble tonight.
