Strange how people see games.
I thought Bradford were one of the better sides we have played this season.
Best by far Notts County. Starting to take some shape. Notts County, Wrexham and Stockport. Any club finishing above these will likely be promoted automatically. Just hoping yesterday was a one off. Have a chance to get back v Newport. That was our worst performance of the season.

I mentioned it was an error. I don't think it was a total howler but given his very high level of performances I thought he could have done better and held it. so could the defending after.
not aimed at you, but it goes without saying I think he's been superb this season. feels like. you need to say such things if you make a negative comment. what rumours! (genuinely )
not seen it suggested anywhere other than the lsp kind of pointing out there sometimes where you brain goes at times like this as a fan. They also pointed out geography would be in our favour, Newport to Bradford not being very commutable (nor gillingham)
Sorry, I thought more people were being negative about Mahoney but having read back I think I must have unintentionally exaggerated the anti Mahoney rhetoric and I felt defensive as I think he has been excellent overall. Flynn rumours started as conjecture/a mention with no basis in fact on LSPOD and followed up by JoeMezz on new manager thread.

We looked absolutely shattered yesterday, worrying 2 games into a busy month. Couldnt even pass to eachother at times, felt like a regression into last seasons brand of football of knocking it around infront of them with no idea how to get through them.
I didnt rate Bradford much, as much as we stunk the place out we had the better chances.
Howler from Mahoney, if you can catch it palm it away to safety.
Really frustrating end to a long and expensive week on the road. Feel sorry for Flynn, doing a great job with such a threadbare squad. Shame we appear unable to compete financially in Div4- dont need an open chequebook just a competent squad of 20odd pros.
We should beat Newport after a weeks rest (Reading in the pizza pot should just be thrown), but i worry for Salford, Gillingham and MK in a week.
Get some bodies in FFS, next season we will see a significant drop in STs/Revenue i fear. if we dont get up. Can only BS the fan base for so many years.

For Reading I’d go with Shade and Obodo up top.

I can't remember the rules, but could that pointless 92nd minute substitution of Genesini mean he's one of the 'eligible' first- teamers for the Pizza trophy game?

They're pretty minimal now, I think almost all our professional squad qualifies bar Genesini, Dworzak and Minturn. We'd have to try pretty hard to not field a team that met those rules by accident. For example:
L Ward
Hart Minturn B.Ward / Clayton (both qualify)
Genesini Uwakwe (qualifies)
Brown Kinsella (qualifies) Dworzak
Obodo Shade (qualifies)
Is fine, and that's as threadbare as we get really.

on loan premier/cat 1 academy players qualify but not our own (like minturn). That's the kind of thing that gets my goat
EFL teams should be able to play who they like.

They should, but these rules are basically "don't play your whole youth team, but you can play six of them plus the keeper". You'd have to be trying to get fined for this.

it's better than it was I suppose.
still two tier bollocks though. But I'm not going to go to the games so I only care about not getting injuries really

They were. I’d place them below Notts County but above everyone else we’ve played.
