According to their forum one of their fans ripped the paper towel dispenser off the wall in the away supporters toilets. There really are some sad sacks out there.

I did notice George M step back into FBT’s position when he strode forward a few times but not often enough.
No reason they can’t improve this if the midfield are willing.
If Edwards were to sign I’d be fascinated to see if the communication and shape is better.

So we end up with a slower version scampering to cover when the other 2 CBs are marauding forward?

A better positional and organiser at the back doesn't need to be quicker than Brewitt

The defensive shape needs fixing whether it’s an Edwards type or Brewitt in that role. It can’t be both wide CB’s fucking off the other end of the pitch at once because when both our wingbacks are already that high and neither of our CM’s are dropping back, when the ball is lost, we’re in trouble.

FWIW I think a better organiser can also help with that. I like Brewitt as a player, he gives his all and puts his head in when needed and I think he’d actually be decent in an emergency DM role as well when needed but I’m not sold on his quality as a consistent starter and if a Edwards type came in then it would be him who drops out in my opinion.

As stated above, a Edwards type in that middle CB role doesn’t need to be blisteringly quick if the defensive shape is sorted out, so whilst I’m not saying our defensive issues at the minute are down to Brewitt, I’d like to see a taller, commanding CB come in regardless and add some height to that back line for when we’re up against it.

On another note, I was watching Harry Smith on Saturday and it’s a shame we missed out on him because he’s the exact sort of the striker we’re trying to sign at the minute.

it's difficult. Are we better in attack because of our cavalier defending. Does fixing it break the other?

unbeaten and largely freescoring, I'd wait until it breaks before tinkering

Bit of a go in the DRS around me. Going to need the crowd a few times this season when things aren’t going so well.

Was you up towards the back, level with 18 yard box TE side?
Always get some singing going up there.

If anybody on here really has any idea of what Ryan Edwards actually is then please let me know, as far as I can tell we have basically nothing to go on other than Wiki and Tansfermarkt?

I'm with you Tom, I know the name and a couple of his previous clubs but no idea what level he played at last season
