The problem is nobody had a stinker or made huge mistakes, individually they were all pretty good. I think this is Flynn territory to sort out.

Also let’s not forget that free kick at the end was an absolute joke of a decision…

Not quite the one on FBT last season where he conceded a penalty kicking the ball into his own face.

Should be seeing that out at 4-1 & 5-3.
I'm writing that off as one of those freak games that happen every now & then.
However a point away from home is always ok regardless of circumstance.
4 from 6 away, Tuesday & Saturday that's decent.

Win next Saturday & it becomes a very good start to the season.

Clearly there are issues & I trust Flynn to work on those.

New recruits in midfield & defence would need to offer more than just nastiness etc.
They need to be able to play and not being able to move the ball around might upset the dynamic of the team.

Anyway, 3 enjoyable games so far. Good stuff.

That hurt.
Convinced the Ref was getting sucked in by the Hollywood bravado.

Should have seen it out mind.

Yeah. Its always sunny in Wrexham, when you get soft free kicks and penalties to make sure you don't lose.

As disappointing as it is to not come away with 3 points from that. I’m going to try and look at things from a much more happy clappy perspective….

We’re unlikely to come across that kind of bombardment too often. Wrexham, especially at home are a different beast to most teams in this league, with a crowd that expects them to win every match at home and Tozer launching in throws like that at every opportunity.

We weren’t able to hold out but the way we made our chances, and were even unlucky not to score more, bodes very very well. If we can create even half the chances we did today, each game, I think over the course of the season we’re likely to gain more points than we drop.

Interesting that some are saying the pen was soft, from the camera angle it looks stonewall to me. When you grab that much shirt in the penalty area, you’ve got to expect to be in the shit. Really stupid from FBT considering Palmer was running away from goal.

The free kick did look very soft though. Also really disappointed to not see fresh legs coming on in that last 10 minutes to at least break the game up a bit. Wakeling harrying Wrexham players would have been very useful…they were shit on the ball under pressure earlier in the match. Fuck knows why we stopped trying to keep the ball in their half from about 85 minutes onwards also.

Football eh? Crash

fucking pissed off with that. Can't say we were robbed and a point is a point but defensively as a team that's unacceptable.

Crewe on steroids

Great meeting you Mate for the first time.
Well pissed off tonight. Ffs that one hurt.

I loved that. I know many will not agree but everything in a football match was nearly in that. Great atmosphere decent fans and good away day.

It’s August the league will start to take shape around October. After the doom and gloom of the summer and really shit week it was nice to sit in the sun watch some football and think you know what we got half decent team here

Meant to post this in this thread but did in the other....

Its taken me about 4 hours....but I've snapped out of the foul mood I was in.

There is a fucking lot to work on, but there are also a bunch of positives in this team.

My major worry is there isn't the budget to get what we need in and we'll get hit with even more suspensions/injuries
