Now I have watched the full game I feel I can contribute. No real duff performances really. I thought the back 3 looked great, UGM's pace electric. I went for Browitt. Someone else mentioned it in the MDT, but he could work in a back 3.

we've been to Aberdeen, we hate the Hibs, they make us spew up, so make some noise, the gorgie boys, for Hearts in Europe.

How did Khan/Kinsella work as a pairing?

As expected, Kinsella did all the dirty work whereas Kemp was the dynamic number 10. We played so aggressively in their half, loads of red shirts in their half/box. Was pleasing to see.

Khan, not Kemp 😉 Great to hear about the aggression though. Something that was very lacking last term

Oops, my bad. I guess they are the KKK thinking about it!

Ha, no. Sorry to answer your question, Khan looked to me like the shuttler between defence and attack. With Hutton and uwakwe, there were always plenty of options. Even FBT and UGM popped up in midfield to offer support.

Yes, I noticed that the outside centre halves were certainly joining the attacks a la Sheff Utd in recent years.

Gotcha. Sounds like we might have to toy around with either Khan/McEachran alongside Kinsella to figure out what works best against which team. Could be one of those ‘good problems’.

I have a feeling that Flynn might see Cain as Kemp's backup. He can pretty much play anywhere across midfield really but I think he's seen more as a number 10 potentially.

Opted for Brewitt, I was expecting him to be something of a weak link in the back line but can’t remember too much he did wrong all game. But I don’t think anyone was poor tonight.
Brewitt’s “aggressive” defending was superb on Tuesday - certainly proving a lot of us wrong.

Opted for Brewitt too. In the 3 X 90's I've seen of him in the Flynn era he's seemed completely transformed. Looks like Flynn has worked out to have got the best out of him so far. Will be interesting to see how it pans out.
