That was the worst penalty I've ever seen. I started walking to the aisle as soon as he stood at that ridiculous angle to the ball.
funnily enough I watched this a few weeks ago. (no idea why really) It was like he approached the ball to deliberately bend it like a free kick into the top corner. Needless to say he ended up looking quite ridiculous. |

Scott Lindsey would be positively glowing about our box entries given last night's performance by the sounds of things. It goes to show, that whilst there is more than 1 way to skin a cat, Flynn's way sounds more enjoyable.

just watched the very abridged highlights and there was some worrying defending based on that.
But our fans say we defended well so I'll assume they showed every posh chance and the rest were thwarted.
Good finish by RHM.. The keeper would be annoyed at himself but was probably expected it to go across him

The ever brilliant Rich Banyard gave out this stat last night.
I'll be honest, we've won loads more shoot outs than I thought. I could only remember 4.

1 out of 4 in playoff matches
0 out of 1 in the FA Cup
0 out of 6 in the League Cup
10 out of 14 in minor cup competitions
Except for Charlton, we only win the crap ones!

I guess the minor competitions are far less likely to stick in the memory. I think we've beaten Oxford twice in minor comps. (maybe more) Once in the ZDS cup and once in the Johnstone's paint. (to break the 7 in a row) |

Just watched the full game back and i agree with Flynn, we looked very impressive and frustrated Posh throughout the majority of the game. |
