I mean - I take that as an upgrade over Kennedy but Jesus fucking Christ.

I’m not sure Holloway is the type to let others around him pick the team / formation for him at least

This.

Which means it could be a short sting potentially.

A 35.79 win percentage over 989 games isn’t bad in all fairness.

As with any new new manager, won't judge until a few games in.
Gut feeling is that it won't end well.

Still, I guess that he won't be afraid to speak his mind which might not be a bad thing.

Perhaps they asked Bignot if he knew anyone cheap?

If its as big of a shambles as everyone else he won't go mute and just go to the golf course like Morris. He'll talk about it.

I've wanted Holloway for years. This is the wrong time now though I think. Been out of the game a while and has questions  about him. He'll certainly earn his stripes if he can get this rabble of shite playing football though and definitely got to be an improvement on what's just gone out the door. They can barely make 5/10 yard passes at the moment. It's fucking awful. Worst town side I've ever seen and that's after last season's turgid offering. Onwards and upwards eh! Can't go much further down.

Regrettably if you control for games played within the least *decade* it's 180 games, 28.33% win ratio.

When his most successful managerial job (QPR) started, our manager was Andy King.

To me, that is a mental appointment. Truly. Who knows, he might end up being exactly what we need, I wasn't exactly thrilled with the Wellens appointment, but my gut feel is that this will not end well.

Just been reading some of the stuff on his time at Grimsby, we’re in big trouble!

This line from Russell makes me laugh.

“Additionally, Ian’s ability to help grow, develop and nurture not only our first-team players but also the dedicated coaching staff we have at Swindon Town was important to us.

So Russell still thinks Gunning/Bignot are the future?

Bignot i can't judge, but Gunning certainly fucking isn't. Get rid of that clown.

Wow, that's a change up in direction, not like this owner to do that...

Mental appointment, hope it goes well, can't see that happening though.
