I think the general feeling is that everyone would love to have Caddis as manager, but not in the current situation where his hands would be tied.

Exactly this. Wouldn't want to waste a potentially great thing on this board.

Pete o’Rourke saying Ian Holloway is leading contender.

His interviews would be fun🤣

Made me laugh when we appointed Wilson and the same people who wanted Holloway were complaining he's ex City.

So you don't want someone who managed a Bristol club but one that played for one, supported one and managed one is ok.

Fuck no to Holloway. There is a point in time i would have said yes to him, but his last few jobs have not gone well right?

I'm not sure what the fascination is with older managers who were good in their younger days and have lived off that unsuccessfully for awhile.

I don’t think he’s managed for 4 years so surely not a contender 🤔

I can only imagine this is the type of manager Clem has yet to try. We've done the youngish head coach type guy, time for a fossil.

I really do not know where to start with this bunch of jokers. Holloway last managed in 2020, and left Grimsby 20th in League 2. He would be lucky to manage Weston-super-Mare, let alone us. It has to be a wind up.

Managed decline.

Sell the fucking club.

He was on that MNP when Sam Morshead and that great panel member Mark was on it. He said he'd give it a go if he was asked. Presume someone is just putting 2 and 2 together from that
Perhaps Mark would give it a go? I'm a bit fan too. He reminds me of Tony Pullis.

Don’t suppose Markus Fjortoft has done his badges & fancies a go?

He talks a really good game on the radio. Clearly has a bit of knowledge

Do you need badges to coach at this lowly level?

It'll either be an internal appointment (fuck it, give it to one of the yoof coaches, they seem to do OK) or someone external but entirely uninspiring, and we will still all be saying the same things in 6 weeks time (we may even be on to another manger then).

Morfuni isn't selling however many times people say it and our best outcome this season is avoid relegation.
