has he had any sort of success as a manager/coach, otherwise it just reeks of an attempt to appease the fan base with a name from the past.

He was assistant to Rob Page at Vile for a couple of seasons but that's about it, i think?

On the other hand, might be his only chance.

But surely any ex player (especially one still local) knows what a fucking shit show it is.

Is that really possible ??.

Yes, he's even more clueless than Kennedy, and without Shan coming in last season we would probably have been relegated. With a bit longer & less of a head start this time we will almost certainly be relegated this season

He was on that MNP when Sam Morshead and that great panel member Mark was on it. He said he'd give it a go if he was asked. Presume someone is just putting 2 and 2 together from that

I'm not sure Bodin is the answer.

However one of the decisions we all have to ask ourselves is can we separate the clubs welfare from the owners. An ex player with strong feelings for the club, may be willing to accept the problems, because they care enough about the club to not want to see it out of the league.

Was there any reason there was no presser today?

Kennedy hadn’t received his script from Edward Lear.

Kennedys copy and paste doesn't work.

Or he's taking Freckleton out on a date!

Kennedy hadn’t received his script from Edward Lear.

He was attending the wedding of Freckleton and his imaginary daughter.

I believe the non-presser was why there was so much speculation about MK being given his P45. Seems a fair bit of smoke, but not a lot of fire, or firing.

It's very unusual to have no presser, and no comment as to why. The rumours started late morning before the presser would have even taken place. I think it's highly likely he gone.
