Hearing Kennedy deal is off
Probably the thought of Father Ted picking the players put him off.

Heard two different stories too. Schrodinger' Kennedy. Wonder if mourfuni gave it to gunning verbally and needs to give him a ring before announcing Kennedy 😁

I think one is that the Kennedy deal for him to be manager is done, and the other is that the deal is off/no deal. I've also heard conflicting stories so *shrug of the shoulder* who knows.

What is becoming apparent is that we are blacklisted in football circles as we all expected. Very few want to come near us, those that do usually run a mile after speaking to us and if not then run a mile after speaking to other people in football about us.
The only manager we will get is a yes man for the mob or someone that is absolutely desperate. That could be desperate because no one else would touch them or desperate because they need an opportunity to get a foot on the ladder.
Doesn’t exactly bode well for player recruitment….

Another day of nothingness ticks over.
The pitch is being relaid, the club ship is open. That's the most football "news" We've had in a month

Totally agree. Adams took a look and thought "no thanks" & the Barnet fella wasn't interested either. Whoever we give it to will end up being about the 4th or 5th choice. Doesn't bode well.

We will end up with Gunning, or someone who is desperate enough to accept him as their number two.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but we have to be careful about making assumptions here. We don't know this. We are speculating based on having seen Adams at a game, and knowing whatever proposal that was put to Brennan was declined. We don't know how bad the club is considered, how many managers have said no etc etc. Clearly the optics and lack of information make it feel like you are correct, but we just have to be careful.
