"Catch 22" it seems.

1. A problematic situation for which the only solution is denied by a circumstance inherent in the problem.

2. The circumstance or rule that denies a solution

I look forward to the announcement of “we’re still searching thoroughly” in two weeks before the eventual appointment is made in July
It will be something like... "Following a thorough and exhastive search process it became clear that the outstanding candidate was here in house and we are sure Gavin is the man to take us to where we want to be"... that will be some time around the 31st August...

All PR for Clem to sell tickets and irrelevant in terms of the success of the club, which is impossible under the current ownership.

Makes zero difference who the manager is- the results on the pitch will be the same working under these clowns

It will make a difference though if any new manager that comes in can pick his own players, style of play and coaching staff.

Thats where this plan falls flat on its face.

I hear the manager we are looking at is an ex Premier league player with no managerial experience. But thats just rumours currently from outside the club.

But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

I have been thinking (I know go steady there) about who I would not accept as manager instead of Gunning.

I came up with no one, I would even pick Sheridan ahead of Gunning, and I hate Sheridan.

Lee Power has managerial experience, I think he'd go down more poorly.

As an owner yes I agree, as a manager I would take him over Gunning.

Yep to both as preference to Gunning, you underestimate how much I hate Gunning, worst manager ever IMO.

Flitcroft as DoF, Gunning as Head Coach, Sheridan as PR and Hart as Tactical Consultant, with Sturrock in charge of defensive training.
