You can only beat what they put in front of you, and so we did.

Who was your stand out?

Completely unironic vote for Iandolo, who I thought had his best game of the season today. One heart stopping short pass back to Brynn, but some excellent balls forward and looked largely untroubled, albeit against a shocking side. Don't expect him to win, but deserves a mention.

McEachran for me too.

Iandolo solid but made 2 silly mistakes, one forst half and the awful pass in the 2nd straight to their striker who should have scored.

Brennan did well, Cains best game for Town too, Hutton back closer to his best, Williams was Williams, always solid.

Brynn did what was needed but not tested really,  Clayton again did well against a bit man, Kadji grew into the game after a slow shakey start.

Obviously without RHM's goals we may have struggled and Tomlinson with a goal (definately his goal) on his return and he looked eager.

Solid, against very limited opposition.

McCheachran looks a class act, and I think a shout has to go to Cain, who looked solid, goes unnoticed, and put a couple of really good passes together. Can’t look much further than Hepburn-Murphy after two goals and generally being a nuisance.

Football is a funny game, I actually thought Iandolo was poor again today. Constantly dallying on the ball, caught in no man’s land, making wrong decisions, out of position etc… He looks completely devoid of confidence. The difference when Tomlinson came into a similar position was stark. He had a decent couple of moments towards the end though once we’d scored the third.

Overall some positive signs and hopefully signs of green shoots against one of the worst teams I’ve seen us play in a long time.

I agree, thought Cain was poor. Between Hepburn-Murphy and Hutton methinks !

I went for Brynn, he performed faultlessly when a Harrogate goal would have meant a nervy ol' game

Cain wasn't great but still probably as good as Reed has been all season when he was here. Some potential there for sure

RH-M, repaid the faith the only way you can when coming back from suspension/injury - with a couple of goals but also was a complete toerag all game.

Tomlinson in a similar vein for his cameo and goal. Ian also gets some special mention too.

Would've picked McEachran as the PoM/MVP had RH-M not scored two. GM seems to get better/improve each game.

disagree there, surprisingly 😛

mcEachran however I'd agree. Big suprise he's been out of football for a bit.

with Caine though, he's only been here 5 minutes. Reckon he's not showing his top form yet

OK the stream cut out a few times on the train today, but I’d like it to be known that on the basis of what I saw, I placed my vote for Iandolo. Can’t say I’m not fair-minded.

Iandolo had one of his better games, despite a couple of cock-ups.

RHM was lively and generally played well, despite trying to score an own goal from about 35 yards 😂

I went for McEachran looks like a quality signing, amazing that he was a free agent
