Memories.
Of all the games against the Pikeys, even one which shades all the play off games was the 3-1 home win end of season that started the long distance rivalry.
Both clubs still chasing promotion, the TE that day loud and I mean loud, nothing like the shite nowadays.

Remember going down there by train losing 1-0 in a league game. They were out for retribution, in the away end, down every Street.

Totally different back then.

Ray MacHale - What a player.

I remember that game well Mayes and Rowland scoring who else! and the season we blew promotion right at the end losing away at Sheffield Wednesday & Blackpool.
Over 15,000 that day and like you say the atmosphere was electric.

They’ve had blowers on the pitch over night. Should be fine.

You can't read,
You can't write,
You wear gold and Nike's
Because you come from Gillingham,
And you're all fucking..............

Henry Blofeld ?

That's three of us that have thrown that one out there now to nothing but silence and slowly passing tumbleweed.

Should be an interesting team sheet today. Macdonald? Iandolo?

Lavinier a must start.

GK: Brynn

LB: Lavinier
CB: Blake-Tracey
CB: Macdonald
RB: Hutton

CM: Iandolo (too early for Cain I think but off the bench for sure)
CM: Khan

LW: Hepburn-Murphy
CAM: Williams
RW: Wakeling

ST: Austin

We have a massive problem in midfield. Need 2-3 bodies.

Cain will start I reckon.

Bit of jiggling needed for the back 4. Brennan? FBT LB or CB?

Up front virtually picks itself after the Grimsby mauling

Same, apart from I'd throw Cain straight in.

Be shocked of we see Macdonald today so on that basis i am going 3 at the back, interesting to see who the 3 will be but would assume Brennan FBT and another depending on Clayton . Cain and Khan then 3 up top, i would switch RHM and bench him, think he could be a better impaxt sub than Jephcott
