I know there are a few people that keep up to date on the latest tech so thought I'd ask for some advice.

Looking for a new laptop, used mostly for home office (i.e. not gaming), don't want to spend too much, but don't want a bargain basement machine either.

It's replacing an iMac which is about 10 years old and has reached its end of "Apple" life (i.e not supported).

Thanks in advance
