Well we do have a game early Next Year!

The fixture list could have been a little kinder for away fans as a 150 mile journey isn't ideal for any late night revellers.

I believe we will win this.  0-1.  FBT will chip in with a goal.

Fancy this might be only our second back-to-back wins of the season (Sutton/Doncaster, as you ask). We only have one pair of back-to-back losses too (Crewe/Crawley). Consistently inconsistent!

If this is FBT's last Town game, let's hope he goes out on a high.

Is there anything (other than logic) from the Burton side of things to suggest they will recall him? He seemed keen to stay.

Going to this and bought tickets off the CUFC site earlier. Making a day of it with Mrs GR by staying overnight in a nearby Travelodge. No expenses spared from me. Planning on having a few pre match bevvies in The Dog and Pheasant, a Hungry Horse pub so food should be ok. COYR

Logic.

I can only see one reason why Burton wouldn’t want him back and in their team and that’s if we are paying his wages and they’ve used that budget else where and can’t afford to pay the replacement and FBT.

As I’ve said before I can’t imagine a team that have conceded 45 goals (2nd highest in the division) in 22 games have 4 better defenders than FBT.

Did the team travel up to Essex after training?

One of their first choice CBs (Sam Hughes) picked up a bad injury on Boxing Day, too.

Jo Tomlinson would be a good replacement if we could get him.
