Fortunately the two mistakes so far haven’t influenced the results, but later in the tournament they might.

Good performance. Shame about conceding 2. Zero consistency with the VAR. Bellingham clearly has a bright future and he speaks well with maturity. Think the score line flattered Iran.

Too early to say yet, but I wonder if the timing of the WC will be more of a marginal gain for England than other sides given the number of domestic games played after a long season.
England looked anything but jaded today.
