I think there are probably 6 or 7 candidates but I'm going for Williams, hugely influential in a more central position and exceptional awareness to poach two goals.

JW for me for getting us back in it twice and being influential when it was tight. Wakeling close second for me

Williams for me for reasons stated.  Loved how he was also getting under the skin of home players and crowd which contributed to their implosion.

Williams or Khan, but I would edge with Williams for playing in his favoured role as the head of the diamond.

I thought Williams was class. Possibly his best performance for us, looked every bit a player from a much higher standard.

Wakeling excellent, worked well with Jephcott, see goal 3! Jephcott also really good today, could have scored a couple more, really good work to get there before the GK for the pen as well.

Hutton, though his delivery wasn’t as good today, it almost doesn’t matter. They had to commit lots of bodies to stopping the threat from that side. He is in great form.

Khan good again, his half turn signature move caught a few more victims, showing a bit more of an engine now as well, though perhaps that is part of why he had to come off? Reed looked good when he came on in fairness, spraying some nice passes about, including for the 4th (I think, hard to keep track).

No one was bad, some individual poor bits of decision making defensively, but the FBs are about as attacking is it gets, unsettled back line as well, I am pleased we went for it, more laboured tactics and I think that game slips away from us.

MOTM Lindsey, totally changed things around, they couldn’t really cope. Attacking, exciting football away from home against a decent side, lovely.  Too Cool

Difficult to pick a MotM today as noone had a bad game.

I think I'd have to go for Williams as he was everywhere and a constant threat.

Went for Wakeling, doesn't stop running should have scored but created chances and caused problems.
However, plenty of choices great performance, what a lovely predicament to be in, struggling to choose MotM.
Decided to get Stockport tickets after that game and only £10 let's, sell it out aswell

Williams. There's lovely for you.

He will be missed, but at the same time don't think his absence will dent our prospects too much.

When the second went in Jonny Williams Dad suddenly appeared from nowhere hugging and with a massive grin.
Pleased for JW as appears he has got his football mojo back.

Had to be Williams for a 20 minute spell in the first half where he was untouchable. A Prem player in L2 for that period no doubt.

Hutton and Khan also superb.
