Final game of the season is home to franchise, he's going to relegate us, isn't he?

Is it. Oh fuck. I was confident until you said this. Do they have any ex-O*ford players. I feel a Craig Easton moment...

Didnt start well for him and faded.

Club bullshitted us that he was the abvious choice after dithering for six weeks or so.

It was his first 'big' gig and yet he was extremely defensive and came across to me arrogant rather than appealing to fans to give him a chance blah blah.

Rubbed the Fan Base up the wrong way from the start IMO....and when we dished up one dominating defeat after another the writing was on the wall.

Crawley looked good to me last season...even in the whacking defeat we gave them.

Good luck to him but anybody would find it hard to argue that his time here was successful!

Mark Kennedy 5/1 2nd favourite after Stephen Schumacher who is at 2/1 for the manager job at winless Burton Albion in L1.

Probably would be if Clem felt he could make money out of it.

It would be the most Swindon thing ever to hear that he'd been poached.

A lot of recent Town managers seem to fail upwards. It's almost like everyone in football thinks we're a free hit basket case.

And then becomes a big success.

Now that seems really, really silly. Play off final two years ago, FA Cup semi final last season. They're 17th, not bottom, and he's really taken them forward.

He has built that club from rock bottom to within a penalty of the premier league.

Shows how ruthless football is. You can certainly argue now that results have been poor and that a new face could get more out of that squad.

Wow, that's a bit of a shock - even in today's cutthroat environment

edit: Seems to have gone down like a cup of cold sick with the fans too.
