I dont like Crawley much but I dont hate them enough to inflict him on them, Rovers, Shitty or Oxford maybe.

I would suspect that Crawley the village just outside Witney would probably be too big a job for Mark Kennedy, sure we have had but I cannot think of a manager we have had who has come across so clueless about Football in both his interviews and actions.....

Paul Hart.

Obviously Luke Williams was as green as goose shit & has done well for himself after STFC but the whole 3 draws is the same as a win sound bite might just be the stupidest thing any STFC manager has ever said in the clubs history…

As daft as it was, the logic behind it does make some sense, a win and two defeats is no better than three draws.
However I think Kennedy’s I’d be happy for him to marry my daughter (that I don’t have) was probably more stupid. Smiley

Looks like Scott Lindsay will be bringing his Crawley side back to the CG next season.

"You can't just take shots from anywhere (at an outfield player in goal)" might run it close.

On a deal until 2028 aswell - imagine they’ll be back in L2 next season regardless.

TBF the city of Salford is bigger population wise than Swindon and their budget is way bigger than ours.

But the club....a club who were formed in 1940, have only been around in their current guise since 2008, only turned professional in 2017 and who only entered the league in 2017 and survive on average crowds of under 2,500 with the home figure being under 2,000......well thats just a joke.

Like saying Crawley, Barrow or Harrogate are a bigger club than us.

Kennedy was and is an academy coach at best, where results mean little.

Gills fans are pretty distraught that Lindsey won't be going there according to their forum, anything that pisses them off is nice.

Lindsey decided they could not survive in L1 clears off to franchise, Crawley are now all but relegated back to L2, he then goes back to have another go at getting them out of L2
