Its only the under 23s...
Yes I can see that but it’s the same scenario.

I know it’s only been two games so far this season but Ameen hasn’t exactly set the league alight yet. He might wanna consider taking another look at that contract the club offered him…

Luongo was player of the tournament at the senior AFC Asian Cup though (and as such nominated for the Ballon d'Or).  I'd call that a different scenario myself.

2 sub appearances where he hardly got given the ball isn’t a fair barometer. Imagine he’ll start v Cardiff.

And we might see a reasonable amount of Tabor also possibly?

No idea how many tickets we've sold for the Cardiff game I vaguely remember 1000 being mentioned a week or so ago.

I’d like to see Bodin, Tabor, Ameen all start on Tuesday but not sure how likely that is, imagine Glatzel starts.

What about the expected new signing "The Footballer Formerly Known as Prince"?  Hope to see "Cutthroat Jake" start or at least get significant minutes, looked good enough at Walsall.

Possibly a bit harsh but he has had a full games worth in terms of minutes. Im sure Ameen and Tabor will start. I'd really like to see Bodin and Ball start too.

Can’t be arsed to look, but how many times in a row is it of us exiting in the first round?

And when was the last time we had a home draw in the first round?

According to Transfermarkt our last Carabao/EFL Cup win was 2014/15.

Last home tie was 20/21 vs Charlton Athletic with no fans attending, 18/19 last time (FGR 1-0 loss) we had fans in a home EFL Cup tie.

2014-15 we beat Luton. It's been 'only' a decade, not 21 years!

Misread the website, it showed our last EFL Cup game from each season. Only 10 years without a win, still not great.
