He doesn't fit the system. In my view the system is stupid, but I'd rather he went out on loan until we realise the system is stupid and change it, than he left altogether.

Fair. Give it a few weeks & Mad Gav will have him straight back in the team for our 10 goal thriller 5-5 draw against Cheltenham…

Would be very disappointed if it goes sour here for Ofoborh. We’ve waited ages for a proper defensive midfielder and we’re going to risk losing him to play a stupid inside out midfield system.

I'm still not sold on him, but to sign him when you really don't want that type of player in your system seems a bit bizarre.

I think you need to temper your expectation of players at league 2 level, Ofoborh is a very very good defensive midfielder at this level, why the hell Kennedy isn't playing him in his best role though is anybodys guess. He doesnt look fully fit to me still but get him fit and play to his strengths rather than trying to fit him in as a left sided attacking midfielder, or in some form of box to box role which just is not his best role, and we will have a very good player there. I think something has gone on behind the scenes between him and Kennedy/Bignuts.

The fitness thing is really the reason I am not sold. He doesn't look fully fit, and I worry he never will be.

I think he is just that kind of player. He certainly won't look the fittest being asked to win flick ons or running up and down the wing
There are others who look unfitter than him that i worry about. King and Clark for starters. Play him in the holding role like we did last year and he will be fine, he should have been unfitter last season but managed those 7 games fine.

That's the issue, Kennedy says he depends on stats and numbers. Maybe, that's all there is to it.

Ofoborh hadn’t played in 3 fucking years when we signed him. Then he played 7 games in a month. He’s had a preseason. I’m sure he could manage to play a holding role.
Bullshit excuse. Weak way of Kennedy saying he isn’t going to change his tactics to make use of him & only wants technical ball playing midfielders.

Ofobohr's last contribution being to put the ball in the back of the net before being substituted and then never picked for the match day squad again.
