I have been very impressed with Jaxon every time I have seen him play, he seems to have a good future int he game ahead of him. Ex Spurs scholar and his dad is an ex pro too.
Maybe we could loan Jaxon Brown to ourselves so he might get a game ahead of Joel Cotterill?

Not looking good for his career is it
No. It's a strange one as he played plenty at Crewe, so it's not like he's just failed to fit into men's football. Wonder if the injuries last season have done him in a bit.

I don't even know what he is supposed to do.
Is he a wingback
Is he a box to box midfielder
Is he a winger
Is he a #10
Nobody actually knows. And that's a bit of a problem. A bit like Jake Cain in a way.

Being able to fill in OK in multiple positions helps young players get game time when first breaking in but they then need to be able to hold one of those places down.
I don't know if it was Uwakwe or Flynn's decision to make him a wing back but it doesn't seem to have helped him out in that regard.
Think it's a pretty safe bet if we see his name on here in a few years it'll be because he's just been signed by somewhere like Staines.

It was entirely Flynn, Uwakwe himself sees him as a playmaker/attackign midfielder who can fill in at LW. We were short of LWBs so Flynn did a Kennedy and put a square peg in a round hole, a position he never ever looked comfortable in.

Tariq Uwakwe back from Maidenhead, having not been involved a great deal.
Couldn’t get into the Maidenhead team, but already people on FB calling for him to play tomorrow night

Who the hell they putting him in ahead of?
He's not a wing back & certainly isn't better than Cox or Longelo.
He's certainly not going to be better than any of the central mid & he's not a striker.
He's absolutely one player I'd have thought everyone would agree needs to go.

He struggled towards at the end at Wing back for sure.
Although, i've never seen a half quite as bad as Benn Ward on debut. Made Freckleton look like Maldini.

Didn’t Ward setup one of our goals that game? Crewe at home. Interesting fact - we didn’t lose a single game Benn Ward played in

If he really is a CM then I’d see no harm in putting him in, instead of Cotterill

If we're replacing Cotterill, there are at my count six players I'd put in ahead of Uwakwe (Ofoborh, Cain, McGurk, Mitchell, Brown, Dworzak).
But we won't be replacing Cotterill.

In a variation of the standard loan agreement, I wonder if Swansea are paying us to play Cotterill as well as covering some or all of his wages.

Not sure. I remember he got hooked at half time in one of them though.

I remember one season we were undefeated in every game Anton Rogers played. So to get promoted the Facebook lot need to stop saying resign JSW every time he's released by dog & duck Utd and instead clamour for the return of Benn Ward & Anton Rogers. Champions by Christmas.
