It depends where you experience it, before it suddenly got popular again a few years back we went (for a few years pre covid), to watch the Ronde in Flanders (tour of flanders cycle race). it is literally like combining cup final day, national holiday with a royal wedding over there with the whole population out on the route and on the booze!
Come late afternoon when everyone (8-80) is well oiled it begins and its brilliant fun, that song is now just a reminder of bloody good times.
Controversial for many on here but anything by the Smiths. Morrisey is like Thrush...irritating.
It's tricky, I actually like some of the smiths stuff but have always thought morrissey was an unsufferable prick, even when my sister worshipped him in the 80s I held that opinion and before it became fashionable to acknowledge the wanker in him....
