I need our dishwasher fixing.
Is there someone they’d recommend apart from a pair of gloves and some fairy liquid?

Take her out for a slap up meal and a few bottles of wine.

I'd just go and buy a new one, they cost a lot to repair usually.

Depends on the manufacturer and age of the machine.

Ours comes up with an error code now and again. Laying it on the floor and standing upright again often clears it.

What's wrong with it, there might be someone on here who might be able to help, although we'll probably all make jokes instead.

If you wash up by hand and you're not using bulk purchase fairy liquid you're a moron.

Thanks for the replies.
It’s only a year and a half old and doing some detective work online it looks like it could be the heating element.
Just wanted to know if anyone has used a company locally before that they’d trust to carry out the work.
For the record, I did try turning it off and on again.

It will almost certainly be the element. Easy to change yourself. You'll probably find how to do it by searching on YouTube if it is a known brand and model, but they are all pretty much the same. Disconnect from the mains power before doing it though.

My last two dishwashers both came with two year warranties, maybe worth checking to see if it’s still covered
