11,234 with 767 tree huggers
I see only 737 carrot crunchers made the short trip to Rovers on Saturday, can't see them bringing many more than 600 on a Tuesday to the CG, I can see us selling 11k though.

FGR's last 14 games have ended DLLDDLDWWWDLWD so just the 4 wins in 14, with 3 of those wins coming at home.

They have only won 2 of their last 10 away games but conversely only lost 2 DDWDLDDWLD.

We have met FGR 11 times and won 6, drawn 2 and lost 3 of the meetings scoring 14 and conceding 9 goals.

In the league we have only lost once in 7 previous meetings and winning 4 of them.

FGR have won just 1 of the last 6 meetings with Swindon winning the last 2 games against the Gumps.

Given the post match scenes in their dressing room, you'd be surprised if they didn't share few Meads later in the evening.  Got to take advantage of their natural hangover and leave a selection of steaks out for them in the changing rooms.

Ticket sales don't look any higher than other recent games just yet, unless there's a bit of a rush over the next 24 hours I think we'll be on for about 10,000 home fans again.

I saw someone post earlier on FB that Swindon sales had just passed 10k which TBH is still a good turn out for a midweek game, but I would expect the whole attendance to get past 11k.

FGR have prepped for this game by going out after the game Saturday, and out again Sunday till 3am. Hopefully we can have another Accrington 17/18 win where we rolled them over after they'd spent the week leading up celebrating their title.

I live in Stroud and am surrounded by FGR fans. I play walking football with many FGR fans. I go to FGR myself on occasions. The backstory to this poem (at the end of the piece) pretends that I have split loyalties. The text of the poem makes it obvious that I don't. And I don't: COYR: that train ride back home could be awful but it could be ace.
If anyone fancies a Reg Smeeton memorial industrial archaeological walk along the canal and Old Town railway line and then into the Wheatsheaf and Beehive tomorrow, I'll be outside the railway station at 3. Short grey hair and red and white scarf. http://footballpoets.org/poems/now-swindon-town-v-forest-green-rovers/
