That rings a bell, but from Lavington. So why was he known as Ollie?
If it’s who I’m thinking of, it’s because his surname was Oliver. But I’m not convinced it’s the same person, although he was a punk, because I’m sure he was from Devizes as he was mates with my wife’s brother at school.

Well that's all very confusing. If only Sutton was here to sort it out - he knew everyone. And don't spit at me again next time.

Another TEF mystery taken to another dimension. Not on the scale of the lingering mystery of Reg/Andy, where the anonymity was finally lifted after his passing. I find it great that some thought they new who Sutton was but actually didn't!

I think Pete would find it quite funny if you called him Ollie!

Where was Pete Bee from? I remember one of Ollie's mates that used to travel on their mini bus being Pete, I thought he was from Lacock

That’s the fella 😉 I didn’t know him when he was at school, only met him through Ollie many years later.

West, I think. Now his dad worked at my old school I think. Could this story get any more interesting?

Yes, I met Ollie at Orient with his mates from Croatia, they were over to watch Dinamo play Spurs (or West Ham) the night after
