Pulled that one out of the fire. We were in danger of winning everything except the game, so it was so good to see justice done at the death. Badly lacked teeth up front, but Oldham were so limited that anything less than a win would have been a travesty.

 Bye dino

Difficult one for me, Egbo did well when he came on but of course doesnt deserve the MotM.

1 good cross from Iandolo for the goal but a lot of his play today was poor intermixed with some great stuff.

Conroy played very well all game as did Reed.

Payne also in with a shout for a very good performance all the game he was on the pitch for.

For me I give it to Conroy for the goal and his overall play.

Even forgetting his goal, Conroy had a fine game.

Payne will be a huge bonus now he’s approaching full fitness. Egbo looks classy.

Ironically, Hallam Hope did his bit today without even realising it.
Surprised he wants to play under that twat too.

There wasn't really a stand out performer but Reed if we're being honest. He is much better than L2 level.

Reed for me.  Was instrumental today in our win and also made some vital blocks to breakdown Oldhams counter attacks.

Reed for me, as much for his defensive display as well as his use of the ball in the middle

Captain Conroy - cracking performance and scored against his best mate.

Not his biggest fan but captains performance from Dion today culminating in a last ditch winner. No brainer.

Thought everyone else was average but possibly harsh on Payne and Reed who are a fantastic pair of midfielders. Think I hold them to higher standards than other players. They should run every game at this level.

All of this completely agree. Conroy and Reed our best distributors with the ball today. Good to see Conroy put the ball out for throw ins when under pressure, won lots of headers too. Proper performance.

Conroy for me, even without the goal. Faultless display and showed his full range of passing. Its games like these where Conroy can be at his best, as he has time to bring the ball out from the back, without being put under significant pressure from a high press.. Also Oldham didn't really get many crosses in to the box or look a threat from set pieces. Sutton may provide a sterner test of his and the whole teams defensive capabilities.

Conroy, Payne, Reed top 3. Gone for Conroy

Nobody had a bad game really, sure the final ball wouldn't come but that's how it goes sometimes

Wollacot had nowt to do
O'Brien and Hunt were consistently unspectacular
Conroy played closer to his potential.
Odimayo I thought had a good game - Made a couple of mistakes, but generally good.
Reed hard working in midfield. Made a couple of superb defensive blocks.
Aguiar seemed to get in good positions but when his fancy flicks don't work he can be a bit of a liability. A luxury player perhaps, but made a few things happen.
Payne had lots of energy but kept trying to play a killer pass when it wasn't on in the first half.
Davison tried hard but seems to freeze in the penalty area. Never quite in the right place.
JML. Garner said he played really well and stretched the defence. Not sure I agree.
Iandolo looks a different player when Williams is on the park. Lots of good but also a bit of meh!
Subs:
Williams gave us that added spark and urgency
Egbo was a lot better than I expected! Looks good.
Parsons got in the right position 3 times and should have scored. I so hope he takes a chance and kicks on.

So, for me, I think it comes down to a workmanlike performance from Reed or improved form from Conroy. Think I'll go for the latter.
