Equally we could win more than 8 Jimmy Quinn.

Spot on LL and I reckon we would need to win 9 games draw 2/3 then could still lose 4/5😀

Game at a time, guys. Win Saturday and we’re back in the POs.

No reason to think we are less likely to remain there than the other sides sniffing around.

You are right of course as hypocritically if FGR lost every game to the end of the season they wouldn't even make the play offs. Unlikely I know but still possible so even for them it has to be one game at a time.

I fear it’s more than we are likely to get.

That said if we can get a run together (like Mansfield have done) we could still make the top 3.

The problem is we have struggled to put a consistent run together because of our home form, if we can turn that around then who knows

Thing is at this, everything going forward is guesswork from all of us. Garner is as likely to trot out the mantra ‘one game at a time’ if we goon a run of wins. But that’s all he can do is focus on one game at a time. Also each game our newly adjusted team gel together more so anything is possible. I think we’ll get the PO but lose out on Wembley.

If Town (or any team) are going to go on a decent run - back end of Feb/early March is a great time to do it; especially if the team is in or around the mix. That thing called momentum (no, not the political movement) can be the extra gear that gets you over the dotted line for POs or dare I say it - autos.

How often do we see that kind of "came from nowhere" form, from a team that gets into the last PO spot or two with big confidence behind them?! Usually they end up being pretty decent favourites - unless the team is called STFC and it's at the "new" Wembley  Crash
