Head and shoulders above the rest but can't fault any of them for effort even though Gladwin is as slow as a tank!

KKH quite easily, he was excellent. Just saw this gem on one of the Facebook pages. There are some special people out there:

Kessler Haydon as far as I’m concerned can go.
Had a great game tonight when he was in the spotlight.
Last week against Stevenage he could hardly be bothered to run.
He enjoyed all the fan’s applause at the end, but carefully hiding a City shirt under his arm.
Does he want to play for STFC or just further his own career?

Make a decision lad.

Very mature performance from KKH, now do it again on a Tuesday night in Mansfield.

The vote of the massively hungover jury goes to McKirdy.

I don’t think he replied after the post so probably just fishing. Rather sad one way or the other

Yep agree.

Also would like to point out how good a player Jordan Lyden is. Couple fantastic blocks/tackles (one after the penalty save) and definitely allows us to move it quicker when we're in the oppositions defensive third. Could be a huge player for us in the 2nd half of the season if we can keep him fit. I like to think the approach to take time to bring him back to full fitness will be beneficial and it'll be like a new signing for us.

Lyden was probably my 2nd choice, did the dirty stuff in midfield and rarely put a foot wrong, followed by McKirdy and Simpson for their non stop running.

Simpson didn't run non stop.

he's a big lad and probably needs to conserve energy to make runs at the right time. so no complaints.

loved it when whichever city player tried to go in hard to win the ball and ended up bouncing off into his side.

Simpson has really developed, still a bit more to come too like releasing the ball at the right time. Really like him

KKH was superb.....arguably thats the most defensively solid performance I have seen from him and it came against the best opposition!

Hopefully we can keep him for the rest of the season and I’m sure he will find himself loaned to a top L1 or Championship club next year.
