Meh. Relatively solid at the back but just not sharp enough to break down a pretty ordinary side. Our season's drifting away without enough bite up front.

Choice between the central defenders and Williams.
Went Williams but any are deserving

Baudry had a very good game. Hunt defended well on the whole but made a couple of first half blunders Conroy played us into difficulty on numerous occasions Tomlinson good going forward in the first half, but defended poorly. Wollacott not much to do, but juggled a couple and looked beaten on a couple of occasions. Payne had a couple of poor shots and a lot of poor passes Williams had too many men on him to do anything Aguiar: The game passed him by Iandolo had a poor game. Davison had a poor game. Hardly won anything and the only thing he got on the end of he toe poked at the keeper Barry was wasteful and should have gone off 20 mins before he did Subs: Egbo made a bit of an impact Parsons not on long enough to do anything

Williams for me, minus the odd bit of simulation we've unfortunately come to expect.

Conroy or Baudry for me.
The rest way off it. Egbo did the most out of attackers in his short cameo.

LSPOD voters managing to get Rob Hunt into the top two is fucking bizarre in all. He was absolutely hopeless.

Clearly watched the same game as me. Hunt struggled Saturday, almost like he didn’t understand his role and countless times out of position. Midfield once again offered little.

Agree, would be tempted to start Egbo at right back on Saturday to offer us more offensively and with Reed back that will significantly bolster midfield. If McKirdy is fit then we will be more or less at full strength. Newport feels like it's the key game, so let's get on the front foot.

I thought a bit about this over the weekend and I really struggled to think of a MoM for the weekend. Maybe Tomlinson who started brightly? Overall it was very much a 'meh' performance and whilst nobody was particularly terrible, nobody stood out like a beacon either. I'll give it to Tomlinson but it will be interesting to see other votes for this one.
Edit - haha, the only vote. Ah well. I was watching through a Covid fog. Yeah I can't disagree with the Baudry votes to be fair thinking back.

After about an hour I was thinking what a good game Baudry was having, but didn't want to say it out loud just in case. Best performeance I've seen from him in some time.
