I know, don't think I know anyone who could stop at half a bottle of Port...!
I enjoy a couple of glasses and that's it. Then back on the wine. I don't think I could drink a bottle of it. Maybe I'll try this year.

Beware of the headache next morning, but well worth the suffering.

Random question whilst on the subject of drinks. I drink Brandy and love cherries, is Cherry Brandy something that can be drunk neat as well, or is it mainly to be used in cocktails.

Incidentally, went with trifle and profiteroles in the end, and have a Christmas pudding that some in-laws sent over from Ireland that I might attempt to make a brandy butter/cream to accompany it.

I hate coffee.

I don't drink.

Cream should set my gut off big time.

But I fucking love tiramisu and it doesn't make me feel unwell. My go-to desert.

When we lived in London there was an Italian restaurant over the road from us that did the best tiramisu I ever tasted. It's probably the only thing I miss from the Capital tbh!
