You may be right but there may also be many fans who would like to see the match who can't afford the package.

But many would still prefer to go to the game but won't be able to due to the lack of tickets going on general sale.

We don't have that problem week in week out though, I feel sorry for regulars who may not be able to get a ticket, not for a first match of the season attendee.

I think they should have included a general sale band for 5+ game attendees this season.

But you're assuming every single season ticket holder is going to buy 2 tickets, what's that, 7k? We should have 12,500 home seats which would still leave 5.5k for general sale. If they were prioritised for 5+ game attendees then I don't see a problem.

5.5k tickets allocated to the Boom Bar apparently.

Aren't we closer to 4500 - 5000 season ticket holders now, especially with the half season ticket holders? That could mean 9000-10,000 gone already.

Only 3000 sold yesterday so can't see it being more than 9000 gone by the time they're on general sale. Plenty of ST holders won't take up the extra ticket, especially kids.

Season ticket sales were around 4500 plus the mini season ticket holders which takes it up to around 10,000 cup tickets potentially selling. I've yet to see what the capacity will be so can't comment  how many will make it to general sale but with our average league crowd around 8000 I doubt that there will be 3000+ left for general sale on Thursday evening.

Maybe the threat of playing behind closed doors is putting fans off

If was also very slow to get through on the phone, people's season ticket seats not linked. I personally feel 9000 plus will be sold prior to general sale...

If you are excluding the 15 points window from general sale then I’m hoping that nothing is left by general sale to be honest. That would mean all tickets have been bought by people who have attended games this season and the only ones attending that haven’t been will be friends of said supporters.

See Scotland are now banning fans for 3 weeks, fans attending this must really be in the balance now.
