Hard one to take for the Simpson haters Smug Fuck Off

Haters?  Really?!  Think you'll struggle to find many of those.  A few doubters, sure enough.  But what an answer in the 2nd half.

Felt really rough from Sunday - Thursday. Just had a giant headache all the time despite having paracetamol and lots of water. I'm 24 and double jabbed so surprised it hit me so bad! Feel like I'm more or less all recovered now though, thank you

glad you are on the mend Joe.

suppose it's luck of the genetic draw if it gets you bad or not.

I guess being double jabbed may have saved you from feeling even worse

Really enjoyed that and travelling to and from was very stress free.

Simpson definitely got lucky with the first, obviously we were at that end and I uttered under my breath that it was a poor touch but he got himself the other side of the defender and finished well.

Everyone did their bit today but I want to single out Iandolo and Reed, I've seen all our games, Cambridge apart, on iFollow and was at the Bradford game.  The different perspective you get actually being there is obvious but Reed just looked a class act to me, a great find.  Iandolo was a constant threat and deserves the praise he's getting this evening.

Great day out.

Going to call out the loyal Supporters of Oldham tonight.
Broken, totally broken.
From the moment we parked the car and when we walked back to drive home.
Everyone of them decent, however completely broken and concerned that they are finished.
Could have been us and can only wish them well. Makes you realise how very close we were.
Must be so tough living in the shadow of two footballing giants. To change the game they brought on a kid, nothing else left.
Wages being borrowed from the EFL.

Hope they pull though but it doesn’t look good.
Really felt for them today, decent club, a real club and fans.

With you here, Duke.  Completely agree.

Programme seller was a Latics fan.  He explained we were getting the March 14th 2020 programme (for the game that never happened at the start of COVID) for free along with today's.  Lovely touch.  And then had a really good chat with a fan who was feeling everything about his club that we went through last year.  Great set of fans.  Hope they're back on their feet soon.

I'd guess at Principal Skinner and possibly Ned Flanders in moments of weakness.

Not nice to see was it.
Makes it worse when the fans are class, before and after the game.
Got invited into their bar with a few of them before the game. Really hope this ends well but I have a fear they are in real trouble. Wanker owner alert.

3 points and a great away day. Solid enough performance against a shocking side. Good to also meet the Duke!

Simpson and Mckirdy took their goals very well. KKH, Iandolo, Reed and Williams also very solid.

Just watched the goals - Simpson’s first was class, but wth was the defender doing for his second? Backed off loads and just let Simpson get as close as possible before shooting!

From Oldham forum:  their number 9 showed exactly what we miss - a big horrible lump of a league 2 striker
