First home game of the season, and I've got my ticket and am looking forward to getting back into watching live football.
Off to a great start this season, but Carlisle won't be a pushover.

I'll go for 1-0

Won't be easy, might get frustrating at times.

Can't wait for this.
Hopefully we can get 10K, there's a buzz again and people are eager to get back to the County Ground!

We've started the season well, pressing and counter attacking, similar to Wellensball.
I think we'll win 2-0.

I'm taking my 5 year old lad to his first game, he's very excited about it Smiley

Just got 6 tickets in the townend. Bringing a mate from abroad who has never been to a football match before!

Looking forward to this immensely. Hoping for an 'old school' atmosphere.

3-1 Swindon. Gladwin, Simpson, Payne.

I have watched the highlights of the 1st 2 Carlisle games and they look far more of a footballing side than Scunthorpe did in our first game, the create a fair few chances and pass the ball well and break with speed.

Their first game a 0-0 with Colchester they looked shakey at the back but decent going forward, if it wasn't for the performance of ex town trialist Shamal George who played a blinder and the wayward shooting of their lanky striker Tristan Abrahams they could easily have won that.

Yesterday they were beaten 1-0 at Sheff Utd who bossed possession with nearly 70% but they still had a few decent breaks and again some terrible finishing by Abrahams cost them at least a draw yesterday.

They finished last season in 10th place and still look a solid L2 side, it certainly won't be a pushover.

Would love us to get 10k but I fear we will come a bit short being its still in holiday season.

Don't think we'll get close to 10K but hoping for a decent turnout. I'll be on my honeymoon hopefully so can't attend but there's such a buzz around the club at the moment I think it'll be a great day.

No idea what Carlisle are like as a side but hopefully we can push on from 2 decent performances.

The ticket site is showing the ground a bit more full now. Could be a good attendance from the home crowd with a good walk up but you've gotta remember they're going to bring fuck all with them.

Would be reasonably happy with a scoredraw Saturday.
