Grant/Caddis combo possibly with Mildenhall support at least for a while would get the fans on board.

But if someone with experience was available I would probably prefer that, albeit possibly with the above as coaches.

I think we need someone with experience and contacts  as the squad needs building fast. Not a job for a rookie in my opinion.
