I imagine this is how Clem and Hall can both say the same words at the same time, with Ian's hand up their jacksies.  Soon to be seen on Britain's Got Talent.

Reasonably sensible grumbles from the Trust. Sounds like the advisory board could be fun.

Indeed, be amusing to see clubs response to Trust (rightly) speaking directly with the council... 😂

Really good comms from the Trust and as usual they are correct

Sadly Clem & Co don't seem interested in leaving - it almost needs pressure placed on them - its to easy for them to hang around and reject any interest

Tbh I honestly can’t see the club going anywhere as long as they hang around

Sadly too many of our fans seem happy to make up the numbers in league 2- yes great we’re staying up but we should be aspiring for league one football minimum

Let’s see what squad Holloway assembles during the summer and take a look at the end of October to see if we’re moving in the right direction on the pitch!

As well intentioned as these Trust statements are, the club just do not care. They do not give a shit if the Trust are angry at them.

I really feel like it’s time the Trust ramped up the pressure and called for boycotts, or something along them lines.
Because currently, nothing is changing and nothing is going to change until the club feel like selling is the only option.

We are fast heading towards being the modern day Rochdale.

This season is quite frankly atrocious when all is said and done.  There is no way we should be languishing where we currently find ourselves, and we can't allow a mid season recovery paint over the cracks.  It's not good enough.  it's a horrible return on investment, regardless of who has funded it.  Off the field, the club has done materially backwards as well - my visit over Christmas revealed a place in disrepair.  We still don't have a training ground, and our Academy remains a youth team that relies on sometimes getting a good couple of players.  The catering is dysfunctional, the facilities are a joke, you can barely manage to book event space, the shop is a jumble sale still every bit of renovation work they touch turns to shit.

I really hope the JV hold the development plans to real account.  Knowing what the architects think is not going to be good enough.  We need to know how they are going to finance it, and the process for contracting the work.  We should be very wary of this project being a way to farm money through the club - even if they sell, contracts for development work could tie any new owner in to a deal that is not favourable for the club.

I truly believe there is hope in the future - the club is marketable and there are people out there looking for ways to invest in sport (I know that bit for a fact - there are companies set-up over here specifically to look for ways to invest capital in professional sports).

This makes it all the more sad for me. We’re in a period where many individuals/consortiums with considerable financial backing (whether that’s North American or elsewhere) are desperate to buy into lower league clubs and we seem to find ourselves in a position where we seem to be putting ourselves out of the reckoning.

Let's hope that Holloway is backed properly, able to sign players who can play more than 5 games in a row

Whilst he had that superb run that kept us safe we have also seen the performances when we loses 2 or 3 players and our recruitment strategy the last few years worries me
