We need some consistency on the pitch - Clem would be mad if he didn't offer Holloway what he wanted, I've said before I hope it is a 1 year rolling or no more than 2 year deal.

Nothing more has been said about the person Holloway wanted to bring in to help him with transfers, it was mentioned he had to serve his notice somewhere but seems to have gone quiet.

It also interesting listening to Holloway talk about the pathway for the young lads between the youth and first team where there is no reserve team for them to play in to bridge the gap, I wonder what he wants to do there.

What is very disappointing is the complete lack of speculation in the local media as to who the celebrity might be, after the Hairy Biker guy died there are not many celebrities I can see with Barrow links.
That is assuming that they have links to Barrow/Cumbria already.

They may just be masochists? or the spirit of Emlyn Hughes making a comeback.

I suspect the Barrow problem is as much as anything due to the clubs remoteness and a limited pool of wealthy people locally with an interest in football, albeit whilst being a bit of a dump Barrow is doing better economically than many places in the NW and you can tell there was a heck of a lot of money there in the past... Yes when every other league 2 teams losses around £1m a year.   Unless every other club is doing something dodgy with their 'admin fees'?

Does every other league club operate on minimal staff? Do they only pay for one turnstile in a standto be open until five mins before kick off, etc?

My understanding of the potential 'nefarious reasons' for owning a L2 Club aren't that there's actual net profit to be made, but that you can launder money through the club.

Not that there's any hard evidence that's happening here or anywhere else.

No evidence, but certainly a crime patern of individuals.

It's ok, we've (not) employed a matchday guest who is very experienced in such matters. He can keep an eye out for it.

Few things I'm guessing we'll get news on over the next few weeks.

Season ticket announcement
New Holloway contract
Fans forum

Unless I missed any of them?

There was an advisory board on the 4th we've not had minutes of yet which you think might at least mention some of those.

Also redevelopment plans are meant to be published imminently...

Can someone ask at the AB meeting why the accounts have even less information than last year?

Also redevelopment plans are meant to be published imminently...

Suspect they are being held back so as to not overshadow the plans for Old Trafford?
