Come on ffs 🤣

Quote
Only Clem knows that  it's his club and his business. What he may have promised at the start may not apply now, I doubt he is that keen to engage with the Trust now because of the animosity he has received from them. And I don't blame him. And plans for development have already been submitted to planning, the Trust had no input on these plans whatsoever. The Trust will of course try to block any progress in development, but only out of pettiness, not because it is in the best interests of the club. There are loopholes around everything, we are dealing with SBC afterall. 😆

I must have missed the planning application then because it doesnt appear

They also said the scoreboard was with planning too? It was withdrawn!

Clearly not submitted any plans as none have been approved by the JV yet, and even the club has suggested there are options they need to work through first.

As an accountant with 36 years experience, I would expect you to know that the accounts Power published didn't have the right level of detail to compare.

I still can’t believe it’s even up for debate that there is something fishy with the accounts.

Everyone has eyes and can see there for themselves that there is no explainable reason for £1m+ losses. The club has no staff, barely stocks merchandise, the playing budget has been massacred, the stadium barely gets maintained, rent is minimal and the bare minimum is spent on training facilities. There’s no evidence on show that says the club is legitimately spending £6m+ per year.

But Clems funding the club, don't you know?

Its been obvious for a long time, but here we are.

Just on this whole no staff thing, from the accounts average number of employees each year...

Year to May 19 130
Year to May 20 99
Year to May 21 79
Year to May 22 128
Year to May 23 214

They've reverted to using Micro accounts, so even less detail than previously.  Basically shows about 5m being owed to Axis, which will be loans to STFC and roughly the same amount owed by Axis, which will be money owed to other Axis businesses (in the accounts from a couple of years ago it did state the monies owed were to various business owned by the sole Director).

The amount owed by STFC only went up by a few hundred grand, with the big jump coming in the prior year of 3.6m (which seems to align with STFC's accounts showing a switch from owing Clem directly to Axis).  Over a year since the end of the financial year though, so only useful for showing us the state of play end of 2023.

So who do we owe the other 700k+ of the 1m the FC loses every year. Presumably directors loans directly to Clem and not the holding company? Is that how it works?
