Why is Jamie Russell on that list?

I did think that, but quite a lot of Directors of Football are - Martin Ling is on the list at Leyton Orient, for example. The categories seem to matter.

Kiely is a) (a) Any Person occupying the position of director of a Club whose particulars are registered or registrable under the provisions of section 162 of the Companies Act 2006 and includes a shadow director, that is to say, a Person in accordance with whose directions or instructions the directors of the Club are accustomed to act*

Whereas Russell is (f) Other, not covered by the above.

A is the same category as the whole class of 92 are at Salford...

Kiely’s best mate is… Mark Kennedy!

Have we got anything to back that up other than they are both Irish & might have been in some squads together?

Dean & Mark never played club football together, aren’t the same age, weren’t even born in the same country. I can find anything link other than both played for Ireland.

It’s entirely possible they were room mates and became best mates or something but their paths don’t appear to cross that often

The update mostly being there'll be an update next week.

It's something at least.

Mild eyebrow raise at using their first post since July 9th to say they won't be providing a running commentary - little risk of that I should think.

On 9th May 2024, TrustSTFC published the outcome of the End of Season Fans Survey from more than 2,000 responses which indicated the vast majority of fans were concerned about the future of Swindon Town Football Club under the current ownership.

Following the Fans Survey, TrustSTFC engaged in direct conversations with the Chairman and through a wider Supporter’s Group Meeting, which was held on 12th June 2024.

Many of the issues previously raised and highlighted, including those in our recent open letter will take time to resolve. As a result, the TrustSTFC Board decided to take stock of progress against each issue towards the end of September 2024.

That review took place last week, the Chair of TrustSTFC met with the Chairman regarding the current state of the Club, on and off the pitch. These discussions are ongoing and a further meeting has been scheduled for this week.

As fans ourselves, we appreciate the frustration that Swindon supporters are experiencing right now, but providing a running commentary during these discussions will only delay or frustrate what we are trying to achieve. We are committed to providing a detailed update to members and supporters at the earliest opportunity and will do so no later than 4th October 2024.

Thank you for your understanding and fingers crossed for a better result at Tranmere on Tuesday night.

Well yeah, it didn't take Columbo to work that one out. But they've given us a date and hopefully will be more mindful of doing the same in the future.

Clearly they haven't spoken much to Anthony Hall yet, who could advise them against giving dates lest they be held to them!

Good there's been some comment made, hopeful of the following meeting finding Clem&Co's slow progress with the club against the open letter's key points unimpressive. They've given him the rope to hang himself, now start to pull it back in.

With whispers of missed payments circling again, who knows, maybe Admin Errors (TM) kicks everything up a gear with the fans in that time. We cannot afford points deductions this season.

Thanks, I did wonder if all DOFs are listed, seems that must be why J.Russell is on our list.

Director means:
(a) any Person occupying the position of director of a Club whose particulars are
registered or registrable under the provisions of section 162 of the Act and
includes a shadow director, that is to say, a Person in accordance with whose
directions or instructions the directors of the Club are accustomed to act;
(b) a Person having Control over the Club;
(c) a Person exercising the powers that are usually associated with the powers of
a director of a company;
(d) a Person occupying the position of ‘chief executive officer’ (or an individual with
another title, but carrying out an equivalent role);
(e) a Relevant Signatory;

Not sure where Kiely(x2) sits here but still think its a sirect link to the significant interest status/shareholding even if they are "silent partners" (cough").

The STFC Who's who page has had both Kiely's listed on it since Nov 23
