What do you want another John Trollop?

Don’t we have a left back?

Well for several years recently we havent seemed to have any! playing midfielders there, or CB's or right backs.

That's a bit harsh

I'd say from the XI today Wright, Cox and Kilkenny definitely. Sobowale, Butterworth, Freckleton, Glatzel maybe around squads. Maybe Cotterill, too early to say. It's only really King and Bycroft who I think aren't very good, and even then we've played much worse in this division and got away with it.

A good manager and a few good players raise the level of those around them - Wellens won this league with Ellis Iandolo as left wing back (and playing really well!)

It's really not a terrible side, it's just lacking spark.

Morfuni needs to sell up for us to have any chance of getting out of this rut.

Problem is he won’t- and is under no pressure to with fans clapping off that debacle today.

We are 21st in the bottom division it’s criminal and even more so that this is the third shite season on the trot under this regime

Dread to think what we'll get through the gates ln a Tuesday night, especially against some of the divisions lesser supported teams

Talk on the radio yesterday about the new ownership groups throughout the lower leagues.

Carlisle’s owners have spent £4m on a training ground and £4m on the ground, including two actual fanzones, rather than some fencing.

Tranmere are about to be bought by a US consortium, members of whom may have been Trump lawyer’s, but also have experience in football with Roma.

Burton have millions.

Even Walsall were bought by wealthy US owners.

I’m quite bitter that we’re left with what we have. If the lower league had a raffle to allocate the best owners, it feels like we got the last ticket. We’ve done nothing to deserve this decade of decline.

I think the decline is also starting to be evident in the demographic of the home crowd too. Look around, and there aren’t many 15-30s. They’ve not been attracted in. There’s no data to back this up of course (although the club should have it) but I wonder if we’re storing up significant crowd reductions for the future. Younger people are not bound to the club in the way those of us who started in the 90s were.

The presser pod from Loathed Strangers had a Carlisle fan talking about their ownership. They've done all that in ten months.

Yeah, but did they paint a home stand blue so it blinds your eyes when you stand in the coucourse?
