Club reason for cancelling meetings is transfer window related.

Fucking hell

If only they had someone at the club who knew that the transfer window dates, I guess that’s what happens when you are being run by people that don’t have a clue

Grim reading.

Trust and JV seemingly disregarded by STFC whoever that is.

Can the Trust let us know what may happen and what the options are if this situation continues, with future:

1. rent default
2. planning default
3. no development contract in place

In particular, is there a risk that Nigel Eady's investment in the CG acquisition will have been spaffed up against the wall?

Time and effort will have been wasted if they do not meet the necessary development triggers, but even if the Council did have an appetite to enforce the buy back option, it's at the original purchase rate.

The council can't afford to buy it back, it was always a bit of a pointless clause, made with good intent but in reality a fairly empty threat.

Probably good reasons not to but I wonder if the Trust could put a 'higher' offer in to the council and attempt to get them to buy back with a view to owning 100%. Or more worryingly, a non-connected party could probably do the same.

Even if the money was there, the problem with the Trust owning 100% of the ground is that there is even less incentive for the owner of the club to invest in developing the stadium.

Essentially it's no different to council owning it.   Neither has money to invest and club owner would be better off developing their own asset elsewhere.

Given the length of the lease afforded to the club, it's essentially like owning it anyway.  The only real benefit it removes from the club is the ability to sell off land within the freehold area, and that should only scare off people we probably don't want involved anyway.  The annual cost of the lease is negligible, so it doesn't even create some sort of liability - in fact, based on the JV set-up, it reduces the clubs maintenance bill as well.

However if held personally liable it will clearly impact Clem's ability to fund the club and he could potentially be banned as UK director and/or fail EFL tests.

I suspect this is more likely to make him sell than everyone wearing orange hats TBH

Yeah but he won't really sell. Isn't he already lining his ducks up...surely if No Credit Clem gets banned as a UK Director, he'll just pass the reigns {definitely still attached} to AFH...  Crying

Indeed, I was just thinking what hot air they will come out with at renewal time.

Don’t give a shit. Still not spending a penny at SN1.

I am looking to get a few replica shirts for the DNA but not from the club shop. Kaiser Chiefs and Orlando Pirates apparently when we go to SA shortly. Casually dropped that in when we were watching Fridays game 🙄

I will be renewing regardless.   I like watching football and it's a reason to regularly meet up and have beers with friends and family.

Pretty much every owner we have had has been a cunt - even Andrew Black left us spread us wide open and employed the cunt in chief (SWP) to sell to a bunch of crooks, who then employed a convicted fraudster as a CEO FFS.  Black also put a highly restrictive £3m debenture on the club and then sold that the same motley crew.

Clem is just an incompetent one who refuses to listen, adapt or take responsibility for his mistakes.

Yes it's a shit show but why should allow any cunt to stop me going to watch my club play football.

Look at the industry the bloke moves around in. Throw in the dubious business practices of the collapsed complies he’s being chased over. It should be no surprise we’re in the shit. Infact I’ll go as far as to say I reckon we’re passed our necks and even our mouth in the shit pit. Breathing through our nostrils, only just.
