Damn are you right? that doesnt look anything like the picture the club shared.

Surely there is some mistake as it looked totally finished! Cheesy

Please share this on the FB Swindon pages where fans were creaming themselves over how great it looked and how so much credit went to the club for completing it so brilliantly.

"Artists impression"
If the club had stated that clearly then I feel the responses would have been way more muted than they were!

Weird one, is this them being convinced that everyone is coming in on kids tickets again or something up with Ticketmaster?

Either way not sure it's a great time to make it harder to buy tickets.

I hate how much I don't want to go anymore . Sat here deciding if I watch on the stick or go and watch Devizes v Slimbridge in the cup.

Hard to explain it but even watching the games I don't get angry or delighted either way but still show an interest in the games

That feeling makes perfect sense. You aren't alone. I think it's the feeling of futility. Expecting us to be stuck in div 4 or worse and no signs of change.

I think the feelings would return with a bit of success. I'm not sure though

I'm sort of surprised more people don't feel that way - there's no upwards momentum to drag people along, and (maybe nobody else cares about this?) the squad is just a bunch of journeymen now, there's not a core of local guys or long term club servants to love. Who in this team do we sing the name of, really?

That one is just the nature of lower league football, but it's a problem for me at least. If I look at cricket, which I'm probably more emotionally invested in now, my side fielded eight academy developed players out of 11 in the most recent game. That's pretty normal in most sports outside of football still. Swindon haven't had a local lad have any real impact since the Thompson not-twins.

What is there to support now? It's a transient bunch of random lower league players who'll be moved on in six months whether they succeed or not, filling a shirt that changes every year, owned by people who are at best out of touch. It's Trigger's Broom with an STFC badge on it.

I still like football as a sport, but I'm finding it hard to care as much as I would have done about the result. Maybe we're just old now, and other things matter more.
